Arrakis is calling again. Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two are returning to US IMAX cinemas for a 13 November double feature, with an exclusive sneak peek at Dune: Part Three included in the programme.
IMAX lists the back-to-back event at five hours and 32 minutes, giving audiences a substantial return trip through Denis Villeneuve’s desert universe before his final instalment arrives on 18 December.
Separate screenings of the first two films follow from 14 to 18 November. IMAX is advertising the exclusive Part Three preview with the return engagement.
The first film introduced Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and his family’s disastrous move to Arrakis. The 2024 sequel brought Paul together with Zendaya’s Chani and the Fremen as his pursuit of revenge became a struggle over the planet’s future.
Villeneuve directs all three films. Part Three was shot with IMAX film cameras, and tickets are on sale for selected 70mm screenings, including some early dates ahead of its 18 December release.
Participating US locations and showtimes are listed through IMAX’s ticket pages.
