Yellowjackets is heading home for its final season, but getting out of the wilderness is only part of the survivors’ ordeal. Paramount+ has released the fourth season’s official trailer ahead of its Australian premiere on 20 November.
The teenage survivors return to Wiskayok, moving their story beyond the remote setting where their school soccer team’s plane crash became a prolonged fight for survival. Homecoming gives the concluding season a different setting for a familiar tension: how the women live with what happened to them, and what they did to survive.
The series continues to follow its characters at two different ages. Alongside the teenagers’ story, the adult timeline catches up with the survivors nearly 25 years later, when their shared past is still shaping their relationships. That structure makes escape from the wilderness a turning point rather than the end of the story.
Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci and Tawny Cypress lead the adult ensemble. Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Samantha Hanratty are among the younger cast, while Hilary Swank also stars.
Creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson remain showrunners for the Lionsgate Television production for Showtime. The previous three seasons are available on Paramount+ in Australia for viewers catching up before the final chapter.
