The Undervale is taking bookings for another year. Netflix has renewed Haunted Hotel for a third season, with the adult animated comedy due back in 2027.

Created by former Rick and Morty writer Matt Roller, the series follows a single mother trying to raise two children while running a hotel full of supernatural guests. Her estranged brother helps with the business, although being dead brings its own complications.

Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Jimmi Simpson are returning to the voice cast. The renewal comes just weeks after the second season arrived on 9 October.

Roller has already written the new season’s scripts, according to Variety, and is aiming for ten episodes. That remains a creative target rather than a confirmed episode order.

The series brings together several familiar names from animated comedy. Roller executive produces alongside Dan Harmon, Chris McKenna and Steve Levy, with Erica Hayes serving as supervising director and Titmouse handling the animation.

Roller’s earlier television credits include Community, Archer and Krapopolis. Haunted Hotel gives him a workplace where difficult guests are not necessarily the ones still breathing.
