Getting noticed was once Rhiannon Lewis’s problem. Now someone is paying too much attention. Sky’s new Sweetpea season two trailer brings Ella Purnell back as the former wallflower with a growing kill list, this time facing a copycat who threatens to expose her.
The Fallout star’s darkly comic thriller returns to Sky and NOW in the UK on 26 November, with all episodes available together. The full trailer, released on 29 October, follows an earlier teaser released in August.
Rhiannon has a promotion and a rebound romance to negotiate. Rish Shah plays romantic interest Gabriel, while Tamsin Greig arrives as Liv, the mother of her ex AJ. Taj Atwal is Freya, her new boss at the Carnsham Gazette.
Sweetpea is inspired by C.J. Skuse’s novels and produced by See-Saw Films with Sky Studios. Returning cast include Jeremy Swift and Leah Harvey. Between the office, her love life and that unwanted imitator, Rhiannon’s efforts to move on have acquired a crowded supporting cast.
