The Gilded Age is back at the head of the table on HBO Max in November. The streamer’s newly announced US lineup pairs the fourth season of Julian Fellowes’ society drama with Tony, the film about Anthony Bourdain’s first transformative summer in a restaurant kitchen.
The Gilded Age begins on 1 November, with eight episodes arriving weekly on Sundays. Carrie Coon’s Bertha Russell faces the consequences of her social ascent, while Christine Baranski’s Agnes van Rhijn sees a chance to recover her standing. Cynthia Nixon, Morgan Spector and Denée Benton also return.
Tony follows on 20 November. Dominic Sessa plays the 19-year-old Bourdain, whose trip to Provincetown takes an unexpected turn into restaurant work. Matt Johnson directs, with Antonio Banderas and Emilia Jones among the cast.
For documentary viewers, The Slightest Touch arrives on 25 November. Rachel Fleit’s film follows Emma Fogarty, who lives with the rare skin condition epidermolysis bullosa, and her friend Colin Farrell as they tackle the Dublin Marathon together.
