Olivia Wilde is adding to the guest list for Naughty, her Christmas comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage. Kate O’Flynn, Jamie Demetriou and Dexter Sol Ansell have joined the Universal film.
O’Flynn comes from Widow’s Bay, Demetriou from The Moment and Ansell from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Their arrival builds out an ensemble with a rather unusual legal problem at its centre.
Aniston plays Mallory, a woman fighting for custody of her son. Her plan is to find Santa Claus, played by Dinklage, and persuade him to testify in her divorce hearing. Character witnesses rarely come with their own naughty list.
The new casting follows Universal’s July announcement of the two leads. Wilde directs from a screenplay by Jimmy Warden, the writer of Cocaine Bear, with LuckyChap producing alongside Wilde and Warden.
Naughty follows Wilde’s The Invite. Universal has set a US theatrical release for 5 November 2027.
