Carrie-Anne Moss and Hudson Williams lead a missing-person mystery with something much older lurking underneath. Canadian drama Yaga began its eight-episode run on Crave on 23 October.

Noah Reid plays Rapp, a private investigator sent to the coastal town of Whittock to find Henry Park, the missing heir to a fishing business. Williams plays Henry, while Clark Backo is local detective Carson and Moss is university professor Katherine.

Their investigation takes a turn through hidden relationships, buried histories and ancient magic. Writer and showrunner Kat Sandler adapted her own play, reworking the Baba Yaga myth as a contemporary thriller.

Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures made the series with Bell Media. Directors David Frazee and Rachel Talalay share directing duties, with Moss also an executive producer.

Crave opened with two episodes and will release new instalments on Fridays before a two-episode finale on 27 November.
