Carrie-Anne Moss has said working on Yaga changed her understanding of intimacy coordinators, as the actor took on a role that pushed beyond her usual comfort zone.
Moss initially questioned the need for the role, but came to appreciate it during filming. “I didn’t understand it, but I did understand it after we’d shot this,” she told Radio Times.
Moss plays Katherine, a university professor caught up in the disappearance of a young heir to a fishing business. Her comments offer a glimpse of the work behind a series that mixes a missing-person investigation with folklore and ancient magic.
Created and written by Kat Sandler, the eight-part thriller also stars Noah Reid as private investigator Rapp, Clark Backo as detective Carson and Hudson Williams as the missing Henry Park.
Yaga is a Crave original produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures. It reaches Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland on 31 October.
