Australian crime dramas and star-led international thrillers anchor Paramount+’s latest programming slate, unveiled on 28 October alongside returning seasons of NCIS: Sydney and Last King of the Cross.

Melanie Lynskey will star in and executive produce Mushroom Murders, a six-part Australian limited series. The commission sits alongside Who The Hell Is Hamish?, led by Dominic Cooper and Claire van der Boom.

The six-part Hamish drama follows fraudster Hamish McLaren and the victims who join forces against him. Although featured in the 2027 presentation, Paramount says it will arrive later in 2026.

International additions include Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning’s legal thriller Discretion. Fanning plays a lawyer who uncovers non-disclosure agreements masking a corporate secret, putting her up against Kidman’s powerful partner.

Richard Madden leads Trauma, a thriller set during a siege at a London hospital, while Alicia Silverstone returns as Cher Horowitz in Clueless. Cher is now a businesswoman whose daughter is entering high school.

Closer to home, NCIS: Sydney returns for season four and Last King of the Cross for a third season. Sam Kerr Kicking Goals adds a younger audience to the mix, adapting the books about an 11-year-old Sam in Western Australia.
