Boomer is out of prison, but Wentworth’s next chapter is hardly giving her a quiet life. BINGE has released the first look at Wentworth: Halfway Home and announced nine more cast members, including Nadine Garner, Elaine Crombie and Daniel Henshall.

The reveal lands five years after the original series’ finale. Katrina Milosevic returns as Susan ‘Boomer’ Jenkins, newly paroled and moving into Sal’s Halfway House while trying to regain custody of her daughter. Then a body turns up, leaving her to work out which of her fellow former inmates she can trust.

Nicole da Silva’s Franky Doyle and Kate Box’s Lou Kelly also return. Grace Chow, Sara West, Claude Jabbour, Laura Gordon, Thom Green and Chika Ikogwe complete the newly announced additions, joining previously confirmed newcomers Rachel Griffiths, Sophie Lowe, Alex King and Chenile Chandler.

Fremantle Australia is filming the series in Melbourne, with Gracie Otto leading the directing team. Halfway Home is due on BINGE and Foxtel in Australia in late 2026. Before then, the original Wentworth returns to Foxtel’s More Pop-Up Hits channel and BINGE from 11 November.
